About the event

Odissi is one of the classical dances of India famous for its form imbibed from temple sculptures and reliefs. It’s a very graceful form that involves rhythm based footwork, balance and strength.

Tiyasha Dutta Paul is an Odissi dancer with over 20 years training in India. She is qualified to teach by the Pracheen Kala Kendra after completing her Visharad with Distinction. The classes have been tailored to introduce complete beginners to traditional dance. The discipline will open up their world to various instruments, raagas, and syllables used in the dance.

4pm to 5pm
