NRTiyasha is an arts collective that gives opportunities to Indian classical dancers to engage with the community through performances and other dialogues. A collective in its nascence, it is run by Tiyasha Dutta Paul, a London-based Indian Odissi dancer who felt an urge to host and nurture classical dance traditions through individual and small artist-led initiatives.
NRTiyasha runs workshops and projects to create dynamic ways of learning and engaging with the different classical dance forms.
NRTiyasha fosters support to Odissi to gain prominence in diasporic South Asian dance sphere through performances and choreographies, lecture demonstrations, classes and workshops, audio-visual transmission and dance festivals.
